About the Founder of MEA

MEA is founded by Dr. Ronald Teng, a long-time advocate of liberal arts education in Hong Kong.
After finishing his secondary education at Pui Ching Middle School in
Hong Kong, he travelled to the U.S. and obtained his first degree at
Stetson University, a liberal arts institution in Florida. Shortly
afterwards, he finished his Ph. D. in Political Science at the
University of Chicago. Then he joined the Chinese Unversity of Hong
Kong as an assistant professor.
